The 11 member Blackboard Blues Band combines a hot 4 piece horn section with a tight 5 piece rhythm section and is fronted by 2 dynamic vocalists.  The band has a repertoire of over 50 songs and plays for private and corporate parties of all sizes, appears at bars and clubs in and around the GTA and has played in Streetfest at the Beaches Jazz Festival, the Markham Music Festival, the Barrie Waterfront Festival, Junctionfest, on CITY TV’s Breakfast Television and at the Air Canada Centre.  

 

The band has released two CD’s entitled “A Rhythm And Blues Education” and “Night School” .The Blackboard Blues Band brings a wealth of professional experience to your function. When the Blackboard Blues Band hits the stage, the energy level is high and the party begins!

 

Incidentally, the Blackboard Blues Band is aptly named, because it is made up entirely of teachers!
